Melton Mowbray RFC

Melton Mowbray RFC has a long standing tradition of playing rugby in Melton and has been in existance for over 100 years, having celebrated its centenary season during 2012/13.

We are proud to boast 2 regular mens senior teams, occasional vets team, along with mini & junior teams from under 7's to Colts (under 18's) and Melkham girls section in the under 12, under 14, under 16 and under 18 age groups.

Our recent successes include 2 County Cup wins, 2 veterans county cup finals, and numerous successes in the different mini junior age groups.

We are fortunate enough to be able to count a number of our players who have gone onto play for England youth teams, play rugby at a professional level and even regular full international caps.

Lead Senior Head Coach is Lewis Glover.

Lead Colts coach is Wayne Greaves.

The social side of the club is equally important to us and we hold regular social events for all involved with the club, whether they be the seniors players, the mini junior section or the parents.
