On Sunday 26th March the club hosted the LRU County Festival for age groups U9's, U10's and U11's. We hosted over 65 teams from across Leicestershire and Rutland with more than 1,200 being on site across the day.
The club has received many positive comments from other clubs, coaches and the LRU about how well it was organised and the fun they all had. There were many volunteers who either helped on the day or beforehand and on behalf of the organising team and Tim Hiskens (the lead for the day), we send a BIG THANK - YOU for making it a great success. We could not have done it without all the volunteers from the Mini/Juniors, Colts and Seniors. Every volunteer that helped made a great contribution to creating such a successful day.
Not many clubs have the opportunity to host such an event and we are privileged that the LRU allow us to host this event, so if you helped you should b very proud of your contribution and what we all achieved together.
