Melton first on the score board with a try from Cavner.

A short lapse in concentraion from Melton saw NMO get their first try on the board.

This was quickly followed by 2 tries from Garnett, successfully converted by Rose.

The next try came from a fantastic run from debutant H Keightley who powered his way through tackles to secure his first try for Melton 1st team succussfully converted by Rose.

Melton held strong with NMO coming close but knock ons near the whitewash left them unable to close down the score. Hard work in defence paid off for Melton with Holford scoring the next try, again, successfully converted by Rose.

Half Time 33 - 5

The second half started as the previous finished with a converted try from Woolley/Rose.

NMO respnoded quickly following a lapse in concentration from Melton running in 2 consecutive tries with both being converted.

10 minutes left of the game saw Greaves take to the pitch, the crown cheering and applauding!!

With 5 consecutive scrums the crowd wondered if Greaves could handle the pcae having not playing in over a year.

The final play of the game saw Melton awarded a penaty in the oppositions 22.

A tap and go to Mcgee, head up and shipped the ball to Greaves giving him the chance to secure the final try of the game following what can only be described as a 'bulldozing' run.
